A new student literary magazine, Three Islands Magazine, has just been set up in Wellington. Though there’s a focus on the work of uni students, anyone is welcome to submit.
The deadline for the first issue is the end of December, but the sooner things are sent in the better.
They’re especially keen on broadening what they publish to include things which mostly lack an outlet in New Zealand – as well as speculative fiction, comics, longform book reviews, personal essays and the like. Basically, they’ll look at anything less than 6000 words long and give it a go.
