Words on the Wind – NZ Book Month Events

SpecFicNZ in association with NZ Book Month are very pleased to announce three reading events being held around the country during March, with a focus on our favourite things: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror.

We will be holding a reading event in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. All the events are at a nearby library and feature a range of local speculative fiction writers reading their work. There will be opportunities to ask questions, sign books and mingle, so come along and enjoy an hour of fun, frights and fancy.

AUCKLAND: Thursday, March 7th, 6.30-8pm, Mangere Bridge Library

Featuring: Grant Stone, Darian Smith, Elaine King, Grace Bridges, & Lila Richards;

CHRISTCHURCH: Sunday, March 17th, 1.30pm-3.30pm, Upper Riccarton Library, Room 3

Featuring: Amanda Fitzwater, Beaulah Pragg, Cat Langford, Diane Berry, & Jane Higgins;

WELLINGTON: Wednesday, March 20th, 6pm, Wellington Central Library

Featuring: Tim Jones, Sally McLennan, Paul Mannering, Michael Parry, & Anna Caro;

Look forward to seeing you there. Also, make sure you check out our Facebook page, find the event closest to you and let us know that you’re going to be there!

Everyone is welcome and entry is free, so spread the word!
