LexiCon now open for registrations!

lexi spiralIt’s time to book your spot at the 38th New Zealand National Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention, being held at Queen’s Birthday Weekend 2017 in Taupō.

Head to the event’s new website www.lexicon.cons.nz where you can register early and book accommodation, all in one place.

Convention Committee co-chair Cassie Hart says the new website is the first step in the lead up to what is going to be an exciting event.

“We wanted to make things easy for everyone by having a one stop shop where you can register for the convention, book a room at the event venue and sign up for convention news updates,” says Cassie.

Student/unwaged, general and solidarity memberships are available.

“We have membership options available to suit a range of situations,” says Cassie “but we ask that attendees remember this is a fan run convention and every dollar they invest will go towards making it the best it can be.”

Further details and Guest of Honour will be announced in June.

“We have an exciting International Guest of Honour booked to come to New Zealand and all will be revealed very soon,” says Cassie. “Keep checking the website and Facebook page for details.”

LexiCon is being held at the Suncourt Hotel in Taupō from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th June (Queen’s Birthday Weekend), and we hope to see you there!
