Dan Rabarts is writer of speculative short stories and fantasy novels, sometime narrator of podcasts, sailor of sailing things, and father of two wee miracles in a little house on a hill, under the southern sun. His science fiction, fantasy, and horror stories have appeared in such venues as The Mammoth Book of Dieselpunk, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, ASIM, Aurealis, Midnight Echo, and in numerous anthologies and podcasts. He has been a finalist for the Sir Julius Vogel Awards seven times since 2010, and in 2014 won three awards, one for Best New Talent, and both the SJV for Best Collected Work and the Australian Shadows Award for Best Edited Work (as co-editor, with Lee Murray, of the charity horror anthology Baby Teeth – Bite-sized Tales of Terror).
