David Catt is an Auckland writer currently working on the third draft of a near-future, New Zealand based thriller. He attended the 2015 Michael King Residential Workshop, and has been shortlisted for the NZSA Mentorship programme. David is on the Aurealis Magazine editorial team, and has been a beta reader for John Birmingham, Keith McArdle, and Dirk Strasser. The premise behind David’s novel has been described as the combination of Smith’s Dream and Tomorrow When the War Began.
