Angela “LemurKat” Oliver is an author and illustrator living in Christchurch. Her love of nature – particularly birds, has led her to write “Aroha’s Grand Adventure” and “A Midsummer Knight’s Quest”, both suitable for the Older Junior (9+) range. She is currently working on her fantasy series, which she likes to describe as “epic fantasy with lemurs”. Her other hobbies involve create miniature works of art – ranging in size from 2×2 inches up to A4, which she has distributed around the world. She has also completed a tarot deck and is currently trying to draw every animal in the world as part of her “Animal-a-Day” project. When not creating, Angela works at her “mundane” job, in a (non-independent) bookstore.
