Scared Twitless Deadline Extended!

In the style of all great horror tales, our ‘Scared Twitless’ Twitter horror fiction contest has a false ending. Just when you thought it was safe, we decided to prolong the torture for one more week. The new deadline is midnight, Sunday 11th November. Our overlords of horror here at SpecFicNZ have acquired a taste for terror and want more. We must feed them.

So assemble your ghastlies. Disinter your most macabre scribblings from their dark, writhing nests and carve them into the body of a 140-character tale. Stitch the leftover bits together to form a second tale, or even a third. Then set them free, sending them to specficnz.fiction [AT] gmail.com. Who knows – they might just return with a hot new signed book in their mandibles.

The gruesome details:

Get your 140-character freak on, and join us in the inaugural ‘Scared Twitless’ Twitter Horror Fiction Contest. And what a fantastic collection of prizes we have lined up for this one. Check out the main page for this contest to see what you could win.

Entry is easy: Just write a piece of micro-fiction that could fit inside a 140-character tweet, which could be described – however broadly – as fitting in the horror genre, and email it to us at  specficnz.fiction [AT] gmail.com.

Scare us. Terrify us. Take our books. You know you want to.
