Greetings, fellow members of SpecFicNZ. I’ve been a member for a few years now, but this is my first active post. I live in Hamilton and write Science Fiction novels! Near the end of 2019, I revised and put out a 2nd edition of ‘Postcards’ and also completed a sequel, ‘Holly and Rebekah’. ‘Postcards’ is set in that bygone era (around 2010) when mobile phones didn’t have qwerty texting and most homes still had landlines. Both stories are set in the Waikato and are a blend of easy-reading family drama and science fiction, essentially around the lives of a family who have been genetically tweaked by aliens over the past 300 years or so. These two books are a bit outside my usual style of writing and content, so I have used the pseudonym, ‘George Adams’.
