    SPECFICNZ SHORTS!

Can you tell a story in 20 words or less, using the following five words?

    Grandiloquent; griffon; harbour; aunt; err.

Leave your stories as comments to this post.

    And … go!

    • They said to err is human, to accidentally vaporize a harbour requires a Grandiloquent Aunt on a Griffon. The end.

    • “Grandiloquent, really? You err nephew. Harbour no rancor nor resentment, I’m your aunt not your mother. Your griffon, your mess!”

    • Grandiloquent Griffon’s docking clamps released; I panicked. Aunt Err’s words echoed: “Harbours are safe, but ships aren’t built for that.”

    • My Auntie Griffon is not often grandiloquent, but she errs on the side of pomp when confronting the harbour board.

    • Room 317, Grandiloquent Hotel: his aunt dead. Griffon cleans the blade. He harbours no resentment. People err. But, only once.

    • You lot just have to make it difficult, don’t you? You’re all way too good at this! Judging commencing now – I’ll make a new post announcing the winner.
