| About | Ami Hart is the pen name for Jesse (Jessica) Colvin. She is a writer and artist from Christchurch New Zealand. Her childhood was spent on a remote farm on Banks Peninsula in the South Island of New Zealand. Her favorite past times were/are reading, fishing, hunting, writing, painting and horse riding. She currently lives on the edge of Christchurch city and has done since before the Sept 2010 and Feb 2011 Earthquakes which ravaged the city they once called the garden city. It was during this time of upheaval when she reconnected with her passion for writing. The stories never really went away they had just been in hibernation for a time, perhaps a time such as now… Her first short story has just been published in the Christchurch Writers guild Anthology. She is currently working on the second draft of her ‘fantasy-novel that-has-been-living-in-her-head’. A work called The Rising, which is a secular, supernatural fantasy based around the scripture Revelations 20 vs 7-8. |
