WHEN, WHERE AND HOW:
SpecFicNZ will be holding its first Annual General Business Meeting on August 20th, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 pm using a chat room venue (details for log-in and access forthcoming by e-mail). Please note that there will be a 30 minute buffer period before the actual start of the business meeting to make sure everyone has proper access to the chat venue, and to clarify procedures for running the meeting. If you arrive too late, SpecFicNZ will not be able to help you with these issues. The actual business part of the meeting will start at 2:30 sharp, end at 4:00 and be chaired by SpecFicNZ President Ripley Patton.
Any member of SpecFicNZ may propose items for the AGM agenda by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject line AGM. Please have these to us by the end of July. In early August an itemized agenda will be sent out to all members via e-mail.
VOTING BY PROXY:
If you are unable to attend the meeting on August 20th, you may arrange a fellow member to vote for you by proxy by sending an e-mail to email@example.com using the subject line Proxy. The proxy e-mail must state the member’s name and who is to exercise the member’s voting rights, and should include the requesting member’s signature. Signature is taken to include the member’s electronic signature.
