We have a couple of workshop events going on in Christchurch which may be of interest. Brought to you by the Christchurch Community Art Council & the Christchurch Writers’ Guild, Beaulah Pragg, Jenner Lichtwark and Angela Oliver present a Show & Tell workshop! This is a hands on, writing workshop where you get to play with pretty pictures, dastardly description and all the things that make writing fun. The event is on October 18th (Saturday) at 2pm, held at the Upper Riccarton Library.
Later on in the month, hosted by Creative NZ and the NZ Society of Authors are several writers’ workshops presented by Owen Marshall, Felicity Price et al. More details and registration for the events (as there is limited seating) can be found here. The event is slated for the 31st October and 1st November (Friday and Saturday respectively) at the South Library in Beckenham.
