Make it about them: the key to promoting your novel

Originally released as an eBook, through Smashwords (and later Kindle), I then put it out as a paperback on Amazon’s CreateSpace. I promoted it to everyone I could think of – mum, dad, friends on Facebook and people at work. The initial rush of feedback and constructive criticism was great, but I quickly exhausted my supply of people to tell. After a few months of wondering what to do…
