Nominations for the 2013 SpecFicNZ Committee are Now Open

As you know, SpecFicNZ is run by a committee of amazing, dedicated volunteer members, and it is that time of year again- time for you to consider serving your writers association by nominating yourself and others for the upcoming committee elections to be held at our AGM on August 11th.

We are happy to announce that there is already a potential nominee for the 2013 Presidency, and that our Treasurer, Mark English, will be standing for the Treasurer position again, as well as several regular members of the current committee who will be standing again.

However, this DOES NOT mean that we don’t need you or your nominations. You can still nominate for any position on the committee including the ones mentioned above. In addition to the regular member seats, we need to fill the Secretary position and our Promotions/Publicist position.

Nominations are OPEN NOW and will end two weeks from now on July 15th.

To nominate someone please send an e-mail to specficnz@gmail.com with NOMINATION in the subject line. In the body of the e-mail include your name, the nominees name (if different than yours), the nominees contact information (preferably an e-mail), the position you are nominating them for (President, Treasurer, Secretary, Publicist, or regular member), and a brief description of their qualifications as a nominee.
