It’s that time again – time for another round of #SpecFicShorts!
Use the five words below to craft a super-short, 20-words-or-less story for fame and glory. Winner drawn at 7pm tonight.
This week’s prompt words are:
canopy; grumble; squint; short; moa
‘A short grumble.’ said Moa with a squint, from beneath the canopy. ‘Bloody strange creatures on the beach with sticks.’
Historic short film:
Jackson squints into the camera.
Beneath the canopy, comes a grumble.
“Cut!”
But the moa keeps coming.
“Musn’t grumble,” the old canopy said with a squint to the ground. “Moa’s too short to nip this bud.”
