Author Helen Lowe is running a “Fun with Thornspell” feature every Thursday until 1 September this month, giving readers the opportunity to comment on a Thornspell character they would like to have a spin off short story written about — plus there’s 3 x hard cover copies of the book for giveaway to school libraries. Today Helen introduces the 3 judges who will select the winning character/comment — as well as talking about the genesis of the belvedere in the Thornspell story and the importance of place in her writing.
