Yes, it’s that time of year again, time to dust off the keyboard and blog like there’s no tomorrow, or maybe like there is a tomorrow, but THEN there’ll be no tomorrow, or something. Like, maybe we’ll make it as far as beer o’clock on Friday, and THEN there’ll be no tomorrow.
NZ Speculative Fiction Blogging Week runs from today (Sept 17th) to Sunday (Sept 23rd).
Post to your blog in that time, and whether it’s a snippet of SF poetry, or a self-indulgent squee about the Fantasy epic you’re reading – or writing – or a discussion of the craft, or just picutres of that freaky costume you wore to the last Con, you’ll be in to win fame and fortune and prizes! (Prizes, anyway. Fame and fortune may be less than instant in their delivery.) All it has to be is a blog post about Speculative Fiction or Fandom of any kind, and you’ll be in to win. Just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with a link to your post, we’ll confirm the link, and you’re entered.
Did we mention the prizes?
There will be prizes for the Best Blogger, to be determined by public vote the week after Blogging Week, and random draws for prizes from all blog posts and all comments racked up during Blogging Week. The swag includes a whole bunch of fantastic Spec Fic books and magazines.
So what are you waiting for? Get blogging, send us the links, then get everyone you know to drop in and give you some comment love for a chance at prizes and goodies.
Happy Blogging, and Good Luck!
